Meet Our Aesthetic Experts
Owner – Kari Torkko, CLT
Kari is the owner of Skin Edit and has always had a passion for not only skin care, but empowering her clients through confidence in their appearance. Kari went to school for Elementary Education and worked in both 3rd and 5th grades until she had the opportunity to stay home with her children during their formative years. She worked at a Med Spa for a number of years and then she began a career in the engineering sector and is still currently a VP of Recruiting in this realm. However, she always wanted to get back into the skin care space, so Kari developed the idea for Skin Edit and is thrilled to be partnered with The Collective in Lake Orion, Michigan. Kari is a laser expert and has procured the best laser equipment in the game, Sciton. She is dedicated to client results, providing affordable options and ensuring that everyone leaves enlivened and excited about their skin care journey.
In her spare time, making memories with friends and family brings her the most joy! She loves reading, snuggling with her pets and taking part in outdoor activities year-round.
She is also an avid traveler and has a deep, unwavering love for the mountains.
Beth DeVries, PA-C, CLT, Injector
Beth is a certified physician assistant who received her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, and Master of Science from the University of Detroit Mercy. After graduating from the UDM PA program in 2006, she worked in transplant surgery where she developed her procedural skills. She has always had a love for aesthetic medicine and skin care and was thrilled to join our team in 2023. She is a laser specialist and aesthetic injector and is passionate about helping people not only look their best, but feel their best.
During her free time, Beth enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves traveling and time on the lake. She also enjoys CrossFit and is a CrossFit Level 1 trainer.
